I caught the royal wedding bug, alright. Someone I'm following over at
Twitter mentioned something about arrivals of wedding guests. I totally forgot about it until 2 hours prior the ceremony (My dates are all bungled this week. I thought it's still April 30 today...). So I turned on the TV and tuned in to Velvet for the guest arrivals and watched the rest over at BBC. The people over at E!, especially the female commentators but except the male one, were more interested on who and what Kate would be wearing for her dress and make-up. The dude kept saying "I'm learning a lot" (I think with fascination and a teeny bit of sarcasm) every time the girls start mentioning about dresses, dresses and dresses.
Anyway, so the guests were arriving and man, if Hollywood is all about gowns and dresses, the Brits are about hats and fascinators. It was like a
Philip Treacy parade over there. Ever since I saw that
cherry headgear on ADR, I want to put fruits on my head already. More than Kate's wedding dress, these royal wedding fascinators were a spectacle.
